The Restonica valley in the heart of Corsica

Absolutely worth discovering, the Restonica valley is a wild jewel of Corsica with its emerald lakes, its gorges and its crystal-colored waterfalls. To reach Monte Rotondo, starting from the citadel of Corte, the tricky road crosses the river, runs alongside old sheepfolds, and makes its way through granite peaks. Idyllic landscapes, bathed by waterfalls where children can enjoy natural swimming pools.

Dive into the heart of the Corsican maquis, you will have the chance to admire a unique landscape, with a mineral and wild decor: between forests of laricio pines, junipers and rowan trees. As for wildlife, the Restonica valley is a treasure with its goats, foxes, great spotted woodpeckers and golden eagles.
