Located in Belgodère, Lozari beach is one of the largest sandy beaches in Balagne: 1.5 km of white sand bordering clear, transparent waters, with beautiful shades of blue.
Its long distance means that we always manage to find a place to enjoy the sun and the sea, with a real moment of relaxation. There are also several shaded areas, always welcome in the middle of summer, for resting or picnicking, as well as straw huts. It is an ideal beach on windy days, as the bay is well protected, with fairly dense sand that does not fly into your eyes.
Several areas are supervised during the summer period, making it ideal for children. However, there are places where the slope descends quickly, requiring careful supervision of little ones who cannot swim. For the latter, favor the southern part where you can walk longer while going for a swim.
Also be careful on windy days because the sea changes quickly, sometimes with big waves… for the Mediterranean.
In the deepest part, swimmers will be able to discover with a mask the schools of fish which populate this special snorkeling diving spot with a very pure and very calm sea, allowing them to admire the bottom in complete transparency.
For lovers of water sports
In Lozari you will find a nautical base for tubing, pedal boating, windsurfing or sea kayaking. You can even discover the coast by jet ski from Losari to Agriate with Corsiquad. You can choose to transform it into a sporty or romantic walk, because the landscape is simply sublime. It is a succession of very wild coves, with turquoise blue or emerald green reflections, with in the background the green scrub and the mountain which stand out against a luminous sky, in another variation of blue: 50 shades of blue and green that will take your breath away !
For those preferring to discover the coastline on the land side, several trails (that of the tower and Reginu) have been set up to discover the natural environments surrounding the beach, again with very beautiful views of the coast.
Losari is 10 minutes from the town center of Ile Rousse, before Ostriconi, and has two free car parks to the south and in the center of the beach, which are available from the T30 national road.
